If you have got cats in your house, then you must be aware of the fact that they do not like to sleep in the same bed with you. But sometimes, due to some reasons, they may not be able to sleep in the same bed as you.

They will always try to find a place where they can stay away from you and sleep peacefully. If you are not ready to give up your sleep, then you need to find a way to make them sleep with you.

Here Are Some Tips For You:

Keep The Bedding Clean

The first thing that will make your cat feel comfortable is to keep the bedding clean. You must make sure that the bedding is clean before you put it on the bed. It will make the cat feel comfortable and safe.

Avoid Giving Your Cat Any Food Or Drink In The Bed

If you have given any food or drink to your cat in the past, then don’t give them anything else. The smell of food may scare the cat and they may not be able to sleep in the same bed.

Use A Scratching Post

If you are using a traditional bed for sleeping, then you should use a scratching post instead. A scratching post is a tall stick which has been made for cats to climb and scratch. If you don’t have one, then you can make one easily by using some wood and nails.

Keep The Room Warm

If your cat feels cold while sleeping, then it may not be able to sleep properly. So, try to keep the room warm and avoid giving them any blanket or covers.

Conclusion:

I hope these tips will help you to keep your cat away from the bed and make them comfortable. If you have any other tips, then please share with us in the comments section.
