It is one of the most important questions for all cat owners. If your cat loves to eat wet food then you need to know how long can you leave wet cat food out. The answer is simple. If your cat has a habit of eating wet food then you need to be extra careful when it comes to storing the left over food. Wet food must be stored in a refrigerator or at least in an airtight container. But if you don’t have a refrigerator, then there are some effective tips that you can follow to store wet food for a longer period.

Wet food should not be stored in sunlight as sunlight will dry it and make it spoil faster. You need to store wet food in an airtight container, but it is not a good idea to store wet food in the freezer. If you do so, then the food will freeze and it will not be able to absorb moisture from the air. So, store wet food in an airtight container.

You can also keep it in a closed cupboard or in a box. This will help the food to stay dry. Wet food can last up to three days if stored properly. If you want to use it for a longer period, then you can either store it in the fridge or just keep it in the cupboard.
