Do you think that cats can go for a long time without defecating? Yes, they can go for a long time without defecating. But I don’t think that they are happy about it. They feel uncomfortable and they are not in a mood to play.

Cats are animals and they love to play and interact with their family members. When you want to play with your pet, then you need to provide them with some entertainment. For this purpose, I would suggest you to keep them busy for some time by letting them play with toys.

I know that if you are a cat owner, then you will be happy to know that there is no fixed rule for how long a cat can go without defecating.

There Are Different Factors That Can Affect The Feces Time. These Are:

1. Age.

2. Health.

3. Diet.

4. Temperature.

5. Activity.

6. Feces time is affected by the above-mentioned factors. If your cat is young and healthy, then he/she will poop within 10 minutes after eating food.

7. If your cat is old and has kidney problems, then it may take longer to poop. If your cat is sick and has fever, then it will take more time to poop.

8. If your cat eats dry food, then it will take less time to poop.

9. If your cat is active, then he/she will poop faster than a cat who is lazy.

10. If your cat is not exercised, then he/she will poop slower than a cat who is exercised.

Conclusion:

So, if you have a cat, then I would suggest you to keep them busy by letting them play with toys. If you don’t want to buy a new toy for your pet, then you can use an old one or some pieces of cloth to make them play.
