Owning a pooper scooper is a lot of work, but once you have it running smoothly you will not even recognize the work that you have put in. The job itself may seem simple but the discipline that is required to keep your carpet clean and free from dirt and dust is a lot more than meets the eye. To be able to remove the dog’s waste and to rake it up without having the dog defecate all over the carpet is quite a tiresome and arduous task. And to rake up all the poop in one shot without having the dog back up and poop in another area is downright impossible. The solution to this problem was the invention of the “pooper scooper with bag attached” or sometimes referred to as the “scooper with a bag”. Pooper scooper with a bag attaches to the vacuum, so the dog’s waste can be removed from the carpet by attaching the bag to the scooper.

The attachment is simple to use and there are only a few things – that you need to keep in mind. It is designed for a double screw type vacuum system so if your vacuum system does not come with this attachment, then you will need to purchase a separately. It is important to note that if you have a bag on the attachment then it will not work if your vacuum hose is not long enough to reach the dog. This is a simple inconvenience but it can become a big problem if the hose is too short.

If you purchase a pooper scooper with bag attached – then you will notice that there are many different designs, colors, and types available. Many people choose one based on the design of their home, or based on the color of their decor. There are also those that have an added compartment where a doggie bag can be attached. The number one complaint about this type of bag is that it leaves some waste in the bottom of the enclosure that you cannot see.

If you have a doggy door, then this can be an important feature – Some of these attach to the side of the doggy door with straps or with hooks so they can be hung on the door itself. Others are simply placed in the doorway. The strap attachment will need to fit over the door and the bag will need to be large enough so that it can hold the excess poop. You will also want to make sure that the straps or hooks will not damage your dog’s skin or coat.

After the pooper scooper with bag attached has been attached to the door – your dog will need to relieve itself. Once the job has been completed, you should place the bag next to the door so that you can collect the poop. Then close the door and your dog will no longer have to worry about getting his waste removed. After a few days, you should again check to see if the bag is full. If it is, then keep cleaning the door until the bag is full. If not, then clean the dog door and repeat the process.

As your dog grows and develops – you may find that you will have more than one pooper scooper with bag attached. You may even want to have several dogs to help with eliminating all the waste at the same time.
